Haunted House Review for Orange County, CA

The first was The Haunted Cellar ( http://thehauntecellar.com ) in Anaheim, CA. This is their first year in a new location (at the new Anaheim GardenWalk outdoor mall). They did some great things with a pretty small area, and I would highly recommend visiting it if you get a chance. The haunt is very theatrical, and the story really makes sense as you progress through the rooms.

After going through the haunt, I talked to Mike, the guy who runs the show, and he was kind enough to take the time to give me a behind the scenes tour. Mike and all of the cast members are very friendly and do a great job at what they do. Please go and support them if you're in the area.

The next haunt I visited was Tustin Haunt's "Red Hill Mine Massacre" ( http://www.tustinhaunt.com )
This is a home haunt, but is as professional as any pro haunt I have ever been to. The sets are amazing, and this year include a 20' tall wooden tower complete with hanging body. The storyline is creative and well acted. All of the actors stayed in character very well, and are great at playing their parts.

If you are anywhere in Southern California, you owe it to yourself to visit these two fine haunts. The Haunted Cellar is $12 per ticket. Tustin Haunt is free, but accepts donations - so please donate if you go! They deserve it!

Tonight I will be visiting Coffin Creek ( http://www.coffincreek.com ) in Corona, and Thursday I'll be visiting Saw ( http://www.livesaw.com ) in Brea and Curse of the Forbidden Jungle ( http://www.forbiddenjungle.net ) in Costa Mesa.
