Hatter M The Looking Glass Wars - REVIEW

HatterM.jpgWell I have to say, I'm impressed with this graphic novel.

We originally told you about this about a month ago and couldn't wait to get into it. I have to tell you that we weren't dissappointed.

Imagine this - the authors have taken a classic children's tale and turned it dark.

No not gruesomely dark. More of a dark shade of grey instead of black.

the story is about a guardian of Wonderland searching for his missing princess (Alyss). She seems to have dissappeared into our world, a non-magical one.

The story is not only gripping, but the graphics are incredible!

Best of all, it's a relatively easy read. Even though the book looks imposing because there are a lot of pages, it is a quick read.

Don't let that discourage you though. It's a story worth sinking your teeth into.

Best of all, there are extra features added into the book to make it appear that the world of Wonderland may actually exist. There are still images and even Q&A's which all discuss not only how the story came about but even aspects of Wonderland itself.

If you are looking for a christmas gift and have someone that likes graphic novels I highly recommend this series - it is a great read.
