Glowing Eyes Portrait

You know those really cheesy paintings that you see at the Flea Market? You know the ones that have a light built in behind them. Well here is something cool to do with them. You can turn them into a classic horror movie prop : The Glowing Eyes Portrait.

Simply find a good portrait and use Photoshop to size it. Then cut out the eyes in the thick backing with a razor blade. This printout was then discarded. Then print another out sample of the photo in "Paint". “Paint” automatically prints anything larger then one sheet onto multiple sheets. Trimming of the borders was required, but a 2 year old could do that. The trick is to use heavy backing materials. Such as tar paper. Then reassemble the painting and plug it back in.
