Disregard the date. I forgot to reset the date when I replaced the batteries. This was taken in 2006.
So we are still doing storyboards and developing our final names and designs for Ruby Falls.
We also met a little regarding the Memphis Haunt. Depending on our location - we may have some major changes - or simply maintain the same design as last year but w/ a few minor tweaks and changes. So that will all play out as we work w/ landlords on leases.
Spirit Store - I'm in negotiations on several locations. I'm securing billboards and working w/ a local radio station for advertising. I'm also looking at doing a coupon book to promote the Store and all Local Haunted Attractions within the Chattanooga Market. So time and effort is spread amongst all three projects - but Ruby Falls will jump back as primary for the rest of this month.
Tim, Pat and I are developing the storyboards and themes. There are two haunts *The Cave is approximately 200 yds long and will have around 17-20 scenes - some will be static scenes for "eye candy" and distraction - while others will be the scare. We have most areas covered on the theme and storyline development and now we are setting aside the budget (so I don't overspend).
Next month our focus will be on the top sections. (The Cave) will have a 20'x40' storyline development area prior to the elevator descent. This area will be developed and built in August early September. So in all the first Haunt will cover over 22 Scenes and an elevator ride...
After we have that done we will refocus on the cave more and then the (2nd Huant - Top Area) which will house (2) 20'x40' Tents and an outdoor section approximately 15'x50'. So all together you are getting 2 Haunts that will complete the experience! After the exit of the cave they will get to experience the above haunt. And we won't be able to begin construction until August/September. But we will have the walls built, painted, prepared for construction prior to then... More Later
The shopping lists are being made and we will hit Atlanta on Tuesday and I fly to Chicago on Thursday Night.

I did include one cool shot of the cave - to give you a tatse of the thrill that I have been enjoying over the past few weeks... it truly is a beautiful thing!
